Chris is an accomplished professional photographer, an international traveler, and a passionate motorcycle rider. Chris was born and raised in the Congo (DRC) with a healthy dose of travel lust coursing through his veins. His parents were missionaries at the time, affording him a childhood full of wonder and curiosity at the marvelous planet we inhabit, and the diversity of people we share it with. From Tanzania to Jamaica, Canada to Costa Rica, Romania to New Zealand, Chris is always looking to explore another corner of this great globe! Along with this wanderlust, a second life-long ailment struck Chris in high-school when the “photo bug” latched on and never let go. Returning to the US after graduating, Chris obtained his photography degree from the New York Institute of Photography. Today, he and his wife, Cami, operate Chris & Cami Photography, one of the most highly rated studios in South Carolina. Barak Obama, George H. W. Bush, Steve Harvey, Serena Williams, Pete Sampras, Karch Kiraly, and Martha Stewart are just a few of the names he’s had the privilege of photographing in his 25 year career. At barely 16 years old, Chris’ first great motorcycle adventure was riding his green Kawasaki KE100 across the dusty African plains to visit friends at a far-off mission station. From riding trail bikes across the African savanna as a teenager, to crossing the US on the dirt tracks of the Trans-America Trail, to carving the corners around Mexico, riding is the third great passion in Chris’ life. And he can’t wait to share his excitement for all of them with you!
